WHO IS BITCOIN DEPOT? WHAT DO THEY DO?

Yesterday I mentioned how surprised I was to find out that there were over 7,000 cryptocurrency ATMs in North America, and today we’re chatting about a company called Bitcoin Depot and we’ll see why.

Bitcoin Depot is the largest provider of bitcoin ATMs in the world! There is a plan by this company to go public sometime during the first quarter of 2023. This is the same company that has over 7K ATMs all over North America, conveniently allowing their customers to convert fiat (cash) into bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies).

Bitcoin Depot will merge with a company called GSR II Meteora Acquisition Corp (GSRM) and then become Bitcoin Depot Inc. which will then be trading with BTM as their ticker symbol on the NASDAQ US Stock Exchange.

Founder and CEO of Bitcoin Depot, Brandon Mintz said in a recent release, “We are always looking to expand our reach so as many people as possible can access cryptocurrency to control their own money and conduct easier and simpler financial transactions.”

What’s important to note is that this Atlanta-based company (Bitcoin Depot) has generated $623M in revenue over the past 12 months, and even as their bitcoin ATMs already permeate a lot of the US population, a move is underway to enter the New York market! 🙌🏾 There are already Bitcoin ATMs in NYC (and probably in your neighborhood as well!) If you want to find out if they’re in your neighborhood just do a simple Google search for “bitcoin ATMs near me,” and see what comes up!

Coin Telegram dot com reports that “The merger has been unanimously approved by the leadership team of Bitcoin Depot and the board of directors of GSRM and is expected to close by the first quarter of 2023. The business combination is subject to regulatory and stakeholder approvals, and other customary closing conditions.” So this sounds like it’s a done deal for the most part!

We’ll keep our eyes on this merger and see what happens when they hit the stock exchange early in 202! (If you also invest in the stock market you already know to conduct proper research before making a purchase). Pretty much the name of the game in investing in stock is to multiply and grow! And a large and very important part of investing in stock is that you go against your normal programming concerning money and follow the Holy Spirit!
