CARDANO IS OUTPERFORMING XRP, SAY WHAAAT??

I saw this in the news and had to research it and bring you the tea! ☕️🫖 CoinMarketCap is reporting that Cardano (ADA) is outdoing XRP (Ripple) in terms of market capitalization - that is huge! Currently, Cardano ranks as the seventh largest cryptocurrency, ahead of XRP.🙌🏾 It seems like Cardano will continue to gain. As of the time of this writing, Cardano’s price is at 0.46 USD.

In order to improve the network's efficiency, Cardano will undergo another hard fork - VASIL. (We discussed hard forks a couple of months ago but here’s a brief recap): A hard fork is when the nodes of the newest version of a blockchain no longer accept the older versions of the blockchain. That creates a permanent divergence (or a forking) from the previous version of the same blockchain.

Plans are for the Vasil hard-fork to “improve the network in terms of speed and scalability significantly and this brings Cardano one step closer to dethroning Ethereum as the go-to blockchain for smart contracts and building dApps.” (seeking alpha dot com)

Will Cardano dethrone ETH? Ooooooh la la! Things are surely heating up and I’m keeping my eye on this! Last Friday, Input Output (Cardano's developer), announced that the expected date for the Vasil update is Sept. 22; as you can just imagine, that created tremendous excitement throughout the community! And in other CARDANO news, Robinhood announced that they were listing them on their platform!🙌🏾🤸🏿‍♀️
