BITCOIN WINTER? 🥶🌨☃️

In a Bloomberg article today, Edward Harrison said about BTC, “Bitcoin is now more correlated with the NASDAQ than at any time since 2010, closely mirroring tech stocks as they keep crashing.” Tech stocks are crashing?😳🤔 Of course, you know I had to conduct research to see what NASDAQ was doing! As I was doing that, I thought of how it seems like (in my opinion) that the BTC market is dominated by a lot of people who are simply looking to make a quick buck and those people, when they don’t see the quick buck, could dip and run!

When/if they dip and run, the volatility of an already temperamental market increases. If that’s the case we should expect more prices to drop as more and more people get scared, dip, and run. But the die-hard crypto enthusiasts will still hold (or HODL) their coins and get ready for a type of crypto winter.🙌🏾

BTC history suggests that if this is indeed a cryptocurrency winter we could quite possibly see BTC and other coins ‘swanging’ (swinging) when this season is over. And.I.mean.SWANGING! Do you remember when BTC was at $1100 at the end of 2013 but then took a huge nosedive and dropped 84% to less than $200 in 2014? But then do you also remember what happened after that dip?😳🤑

Drumroll … 🥁 🪘… there was that meteoric-type rise in 2015 that created multiplied thousands of millionaires! I believe that such a season is upon us again, so get ready and STAY READY! If that’s the case, what should we be doing while we weather the winter storm and wait on the rise? We educate ourselves so we’ll know what we’re supposed to do when we look at the huge balances in our crypto wallets!
