CRYPTOCURRENCY IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!
Crypto investing (we already know) isn’t for the faint of heart. Digital assets are volatile, and fluctuations will occur. Crypto has crashed before but it has also risen to heights that no one could have predicted. Right now Bitcoin has dropped more than 50% below the all-time highs it reached in 2021.
I haven’t studied the individual crypto crashes and why they occurred, but I’m pretty sure that the factors determining each crash have been different. (That is the major reason why I stress being educated about what we’re doing, especially when it has to do with cryptocurrency, so we are constantly prepared for whatever comes).
In the middle of all the drama, because we are educated about what’s happening, we know not to freak out. Every time the price of BTC goes up there’s a lot of hype surrounding it, and people get excited. But if there is a crash, then the person/persons who were last to buy when the price was at the top, are the same persons who are going to quite possibly go into panic mode if the price drops. But when the FUD (FUD = fear, uncertainty, and doubt) shows up, we’re the ones that will be able to keep a level head!
There are a lot of reasons for the prices swinging as they have: Policymakers have raised interest rates in an attempt to slow inflation, the US government has asked federal agencies to develop plans to oversee cryptocurrency, there’s a war going on, and the confidence level of the average consumer has also dipped and people aren’t spending as much as they used to.
Don’t let that deter you, but also … don’t let it cause you to make rash decisions either. Now that we know what’s going on, we can make better decisions about whether we should buy or wait. The bottom line is that since you know what you’re doing, just pray before you do it, and most importantly FOLLOW AFTER PEACE!
