SEC/COINBASE CRACKDOWN & GOOGLE’S AI BOT, LET’S CHAT!

CRYPTO NEWS THIS WEEK: The SEC issued crypto exchange Coinbase a notice this week, warning them that they identified potential violations of U.S. securities law.😳👀 What those violations are, we don’t know yet, but Coinbase said that the warning doesn’t mean that there’ll be any changes to their current services.

Of course, Coinbase shares fell after the news broke; market reacts negatively or positively based on current news. Look …. there’s probably going to be a crackdown on several major crypto exchanges, simply because the government wants its piece of the money pie. Yes, yes, I know …. The government wants to protect the American public too 🙄🙄 but they do want a piece of the pie. 🤪

AI NEWS THIS WEEK: Artificial intelligence (AI) falls under the technology sector and this week I received an email from Google introducing the rollout of their own Chatbot called BARD. Yep, of course Google has to show us that they haven’t lost their edge in the bot world.😊So I’m expecting BARD to challenge the widely popular ChatGPT.

According to Motley Fool (fool dot com), AI is a potential “$15.7 trillion disruption that could change the way the world operates.” Uh oh… Would this put Google out of business? 😩 It probably could, but I’m not sure that it would. I really like the idea of a bot that will answer my search inquiry so thoroughly that I don’t have to scroll through several different links and pages (as I do on Google) to find what I want, and then they only halfway answer my inquiry. Baaaaby, it’s ChatGPT for the win (for me!)

In other AI news, I saw in a Facebook group that Writers and Content creators have been using ChatGPT to help with content creation! 😳👀🤯🤷🏾‍♀️ As a Writer, I’m thinking, hmmmmm….. I could easily see where a Writer could lose their original voice, their groove, and their essence - as they depend on a chat robot to spew out their content. But on the other hand, I’m guessing that you can take the bot’s information, mix it with your information and your voice, and maybe you could come out smelling like a rose? We’ll see!
