PRESENTING A NEW CRYPTO HARDWARE WALLET - MEET THE LEDGER STAX! 🙌🏾
What’s new in crypto news today? Well, I saw that the person who created the iPod (Tony Fadell), designed a hardware wallet for people to store crypto! What a time to introduce such a product, especially with the collapse of FTX a couple of weeks ago.
Centralized cryptocurrency platforms have yet to regain the trust of their client base and who knows - maybe with this new hardware wallet, it could be a start. We’ll see!
The name of the wallet is the Ledger Stax and from what I can tell it looks like a regular cellphone except it’s smaller, maybe about the size of a credit card and it doesn’t look like it’s as heavy as a cellphone either!
We can now deposit or exchange different tokens, including BTC, ETH, Solana (my fave😜🙏🏿🙌🏾), Cardano, as well as NFT’s. CNBC reports that this new wallet “includes magnets so that multiple devices can be stacked on top of each other, like a pile of books or cash — hence the name Stax. Users can connect it to their laptop through a USB cable or their phone via Bluetooth.”
The creator of the wallet said, “Many Ledger owners have multiple devices, some store their NFTs, some store different crypto, some have multiple because they have different clients that they store for,” This sounds like something I can get used to, lol! I don’t have one yet, I want to see what the rollout looks like and what the reviews are saying - but stay tuned!
There will be no #CryptoDevo until next Monday see you then!💛🧡🤎
